Kevin Sullivan nipped his former Michigan training partner Nick Willis as both set records.
Daniel Lincoln looked strong in finishing seventh (7:45.20).
Jason Lunn finished ninth in 7:47.20.
Anthony Whiteman of Great Britain finished 11th in 7:51.43.
Jonathon Riley finised 12th in 7:59.61.
