Vasily Matviychuk of the Ukraine finished 13th in 2:16:12.
Abdi Abdirahman, a top U.S. 5,000m and 10,000m runner, was making his marathon debut here.
Abdirahman, who finished 15th in the Olympic 10,000m in August, finished 14th here in 2:17:09.
Andrew Letherby, a native of Australia who trains in Boulder, Colorado, finished 12th in 2:15:48.
Letherby, 31, has a PR of 2:12:45, which he ran at the 2003 Fukuoka Marathon.
Letherby attended Georgia State University.
John Yuda of Tanzania finished 15th in 2:18:04. Best known for his...
...half-marathon and cross country success, Yuda has a marathon PR of 2:10:13.
Matt Downin of Westwood, New Jersey, finished 16th in 2:18:50.
Downin was the top American finisher in New York in 2003.
