WOMEN'S PHOTOS

Matt Downin, 27, finished 16th in 2:18:50 in just his second marathon.
Downin finished seventh in the U.S. Olympic Trials 10,000m in July.
Enos Kibet Ketter was a major player in the race up until nearly 20 miles...
...but he faded to finish 18th in 2:20:24.
Angelo Carosi of Italy finished 17th in 2:19:53.
Carosi, 40, was the winner of the masters race.
Kassahun Kabiso of New York, a frequent winner of NYRR races...
...finished 19th in 2:22:21.
Dan Browne, who participated in the 10,000m and the marathon...
...at the Athens Olympic Games in August, struggled here.
Browne, who is coached by former marathon champion Alberto Salazar, finished 20th in 2:23:27.
Philippe Remond of France finished 21st in 2:23:32.
Greg Van Hest of the Netherlands finished 22nd in 2:24:25.
Elly Rono of Kenya finished 23rd in 2:24:38. One week later, Rono won the SunTrust Richmond Marathon...
...six days later in 2:17:55.
Chris Zieman, 32, of California and the West Valley Track Club...
...finished 24th in 2:24:57. Zieman was the top U.S. finisher...
...at the 2004 B.A.A. Boston Marathon.
Alexander Belavin of New York finished 25th in 2:25:00.
Belavin, who represents the Warren Street Social & Athletic Club, had a chip time of 2:24:58.
