Rich Byrne finished 46th in 2:25:50. Byrne has excelled at a range of...
...distances and has had an interesting running career.
Joe Wilson, a graduate of Weber State, had the most dramatic...
...finish to the race. He staggered up the homestretch and looked like he...
...might not make it across the finish line. He did make it, but every ounce...
...of effort and pain showed on his face. He crossed...
...the line in 47th place (2:26:04)...
...and fell into Valerie McLean's arms.
James McGown, made famous by an article in Runner's World magazine, finished 48th in 2:26:09.
Corbin Talley of Farmington, Utah, finished 49th in 2:26:12.
Edmund Burke, 34, of Burtonsville, Maryland, finished 50th in 2:26:14.
Wilson was carried off in a wheelchair. His condition made us wonder how he even got himself across the line.
Matthew Folk finished 51st in 2:26:24.
Paul Aufdemberge, 39, of Redford, Michigan finished 52nd in 2:26:43.
Aufdemberge earned his qualifier (2:21:55) at the 2003 Chicago Marathon.
Sean Nesbitt, 29, of Boulder, Colorado, finished 53rd in 2:26:49.
Nesbitt graduated from Eastern Oregon in 1997.
Chris Lundstrom, 27, of Team USA Minnesota...
...finished 54th in 2:27:00.
Mark Manz, 30, of Kiel, Wisconsin, finished 55th in 2:27:58.
