Three laps to go on the leadoff (1,200m) leg of the distance medley relay.
Rodney Hollis leads off for Indiana.
With two laps to go, Colorado State's Paul Michel makes a move for the lead...
...and Arkansas' Sam Vazquez moves up.
Jesse O'Connell leads off for Georgetown.
With one lap to go in the leadoff leg, Michigan's Nate Brannen, who had...
...run the 800m prelims earlier in the evening, makes a move to the lead.
Sam Vazquez of Arkansas and Bobby Curtis of Villanova follow.
Vazquez cut in too hard on Curtis, but no foul was called and everyone stayed on their feet.
Brannen handed off - to junior teammate Darnell Talbert - first.
Sam Vazquez, a true freshman, handed off in second place for Arkansas.
Terry Gatson ran the 400m leg for Arkansas.
Gatson runs in second place.
Michigan's Talbert handed off slightly ahead of Arkansas' Gatson...
...and James Hatch (leading Andrew Ellerton) took over the lead for Arkansas.
With Nick Willis anchoring for Michigan, Arkansas' best bet was to try to get a lead on the 800m leg.
Ezra Richards runs the 800m leg for Georgetown.
Trent Riter runs the 800m leg for Minnesota.
Joe Detmer runs for Wisconsin.
Russell Hollis runs for Indiana.
