Chris Lukezic finished 12th in the 3,000 in 8:16.23.
Washington State's Danny Wolf kicks by Don Sage...
...with a little over a lap to go.
Amazingly, Cragg held off Willis all the way to the finish line.
Cragg won his sixth NCAA title (his fifth indoors) in his...
...final race on his home track. His time was 7:55.29...
...to Willis' 7:56.44.
Cragg's victory delighted the Arkansas crowd.
Willis could only smile and congratulate...
...Cragg on his masterful race.
Matt Tegenkamp held off a large group of runners to finish third (8:02.82), with Robert Cheseret fourth (8:04.28).
It's a blurry photo, but we had to include it. Ian Dobson literally dove across the finish line in edging...
...out Chris Solinsky for fifth place. Dobson finished in 8:04.49 to Solinsky's 8:04.70.
Dobson's fall left him on the track for several seconds...
...and Simon Bairu had to leap over Dobson as he was finishing (8th, 8:06.80)...
...which caused him to fall as well.
Bairu tumbles to the track.
Bairu looks a little shocked (or something) as he recovers from his tumble.
Dobson congratulates Solinsky.
A very happy and proud Alistair Cragg does a victory lap.
