DMR involved an all-star cast, and Wisconsin's super-frosh
Chris Solinsky took the lead early on in the 1,200m
leg.

Nate
Brannen took the lead when it counted, though, and
handed off first for Michigan, reportedly splitting
2:54.5.

Arkansas'
400m runner Terry Gatson made up some ground on Michigan,
but Michigan still held the lead at the 400-800 exchange.

James Hatch ran a strong 800m leg, pulling away from
Michigan's Andrew Ellerton.
