the last lap to make his move. Once he went, however...

race was over. Cragg won his seventh NCAA title in
29:22.43 to Cheseret's 29:26.51.

of an obstruction at the finish line, we missed the
actual finish, but Cragg congratulates Cheseret (above)
as he finishes.

Simon
Bairu held off the race behind him to finish third
(29:57.24). Standing on the track is Central Michigan's
Don Wilkins, who stopped before realizing he had another
lap to run.

McAlister (7th, 30:11.93), a senior at Iona, had a
great race. He is congratulated by his girlfriend,
Kim Smith, who won the 5,000m later in the meet.
