Shay continues to set the pace, with veteran Bob Kennedy in second.
#6 Keflezighi and #11 Browne had already qualified for the Olympic team in the marathon.
Teren Jameson leads Brandon Leslie and James Carney.
Abdi Abdirahman takes over the lead...
...and then Meb Keflezighi takes over.
Jason Hubbard leads an injured Dathan Ritzenhein.
Keflezighi, Abdirahman, Kennedy, and Browne break away.

Keflezighi continues to lead the pack of four.
Bob Kennedy leads Dan Browne.
Mike Donnelly runs in fifth place.

Nine laps into the race, Bob Kennedy dropped out with an achilles injury.
Kennedy said that he began to feel his achilles pulling around the mile.
He dropped out in an effort to prevent it from tearing.
