Arkansas' Said Ahmed won the third 1,500m heat in 3:41.81 and Rob Myers was second in 3:41.83.
Chris Estwanik (3:41.99), Scott McGowan (3:42.06), Drew Griffin (3:42.18), Brendon Mahoney...
...(3:42.49), Erik Nedeau, Nate Robison (3:43.42), and Grant Robison (3:43.79) all advanced.
Rob Myers recently finished up his eligibility at Ohio State.
Erik Nedeau finished seventh in 3:42.90 and advanced to the semifinals.
