HIGHLIGHTS

Keflezighi put in a surge at 5K and earned the $500 prim...
...and dropped Famiglietti as well.
Bolota Asmerom hung in there, though, taking the lead briefly...
...in the fourth mile.
A few surges by Keflezighi were enough to drop Asmerom.
By the time they headed up Cat Hill, Keflezighi looked like he would be...
...the winner.
Keflezighi ran the last mile alone, but he ran it hard...
...knowing that Asmerom and Famiglietti weren't...
...far behind.
The combination of good weather and good competition helped Keflezighi...
...set a course record - breaking Tim Broe's mark from 2002 by 10 seconds...
...and crossing the line in 22:16.
