Brendan Rodgers runs in the pack during the 3,000m final.
Villanova's Tom Parlapiano leads the race.
Halfway through the race, the entire field was still in contact.
We saw Daniel Lincoln do this a couple of times. We think...
...he must have just been wiping his nose, but clearly the pace wasn't too trying for him.
R-L: Ryan Woods, Rodgers, and Lyle Weese.
With six laps to go, Alan Webb had taken over the lead...
...and Lincoln remained on his shoulder.
Bolota Asmerom ran close to the front.
With four laps to go, Lincoln moved to the lead...
...and the race was on.
NC State graduate Ryan Woods, now a member of the Nike Farm Team.

... and Webb, Luke Watson, and Asmerom are still in it.
