Former Auburn star Fred Sharpe was the designated pacesetter.
Recent Georgetown graduate Jesse O'Connell follows Sharpe.
R-L: Patrick Nduwimana, Jebreh Harris, and David Krummenacker hang back a bit.
Sharpe continues to set the pace and O'Connell continues to run in second.
David Krummenacker, the 2003 World Indoor 800m champion, stays back in the pack.
Approaching the 600m mark, Sharpe continued to set the pace.
O'Connell continues to run the most aggressive race of anyone in the field.

With one lap to go, Peterson began to go after O'Connell.
The rest of the field, including Arkansas' Said Ahmed, was bunched closely behind Krummenacker.
Tim Dunne finished ninth in 2:25.04.
Derrick Peterson finished eighth in 2:24.65.
Krummenacker made his move late in the race, but it was a confident one.
Krummenacker broke the tape in 2:20.91, beating his occasional training...
...partner, Berhanu Alemu (2:21.19), who edged out O'Connell (2:21.26).
