Bolota Asmerom leads Tim Broe.
Steve Slattery leads Charlie Gruber.
Gruber was a 2004 U.S. Olympian at 1,500 meters.
This was Kenenisa Bekele's first-ever race in the U.S.
Asmerom continues to lead Broe.
Bekele is the Olympic 10,000m champion.
Asmerom finished second in this event at the 2004 USA Indoor Championships...
...a race which was won by Jon Riley.
Slattery continues to lead Gruber.
Alistair Cragg found himself in the lead when the rabbit dropped out.
Kevin Sullivan ran between the two packs for much of the race.
Tim Broe hung back early but made up a lot of ground in the end.
Charlie Gruber goes by Steve Slattery.
Cragg, who won the majority of his NCAA titles indoors, continues to lead the race.
Markos Geneti and Kenenisa Bekele run just behind Cragg.
Kevin Sullivan runs in fourth place.
