WOMEN'S PHOTOS

The first time over the water barrier, Luke Watson leads Pat Guidera.
Guidera, a sophomore at Providence, looked strong early on.
Watson continues to lead Guidera past 800 meters.
Watson won this race a year ago, setting a stadium record of 8:37.61.
Guidera continues to run in second place.
Zach Sabatino, Jamie Carmichael and David Alber run 3-4-5.
Sabatino runs in third place.
Luke Watson approaches the water barrier...

...without losing his rhythm.
Watson had a good winter, running a 3:57 mile...
...and qualifying for the U.S. World Cross Country team.
Guidera stumbled over a barrier on the back stretch (approaching 1,200m) and suddenly looked very vulnerable.
Luke Watson continues to lead.

Zach Sabatino and David Alber run 3-4.
Virginia Tech sophomore Casey Frazier finished 15th in 9:37.84.
Zach Sabatino moved up to second place by the mile.
Sabatino is a sophomore at West Virginia.
