Lee heads up Boyleston Street. Silvio Guerro of Ecuador is 2nd in 2:10:07. In his first marathon, Joshua Chelang'a is 3rd.
David Kiptum Busienei 4th, 2:11:47. Mbarek Hussein 5th, 2:12:01. Rod DeHaven earns the highest U.S. finish... ...in more than 10 years with his 6th... ...in a PR of 2:12:41.
1st master, 8th overall - Fedor Ryjov, 2:13:54. Timothy Cherigat, 10th, 2:14:21. Joshua Kipkemboi (age 42), 11th, 2:14:47. Two-time Boston champ Moses Tanui, 12th, 2:15:05. Joao N'Tyamba, 13th, 2:16:00.
2nd American Josh Cox actually led the race through Wellesley... ...but got a side stitch and dropped back shortly after. He rallied to finish 14th in 2:16:17. Shem Kororia, 15th, 2:17:02. Olympic Champion Gezahegne Abera, 16th, 2:17:04. Last year's champion Elijah Lagat finished 17th in 2:17:59.
