US 10,000 Olympian Abdi Abdirahman ran unchallenged and won the 5000 in 14:05.
5000 runner-up Jean-Paul Nyangabo and 3rd place finisher Texas-San Antonio's Henry Maruping.

The men's steeplechase was led early by Northern Iowa All-American Levente Timar.
Tom Brooks of Indiana eventually took over the lead.
But Lurking not too far behind was defending champ and 3-time NCAA Div. II steeplechase champ Vladimir Golias of Central Missouri State, here with Timar.
Golias and Brooks matched stridesfor much of the final 1200 meters. Brooks faltered slightly on the final water jump, allowing Golias to uncork a furious final 100 to defend his title.
