Heading down Robbins Rd. (somewhere between mile 5 and mile 6) the lead pack was still large. The course measures just under 7.1 miles.
L-R: #2 Khalid Khannouchi (3rd, 32:14), #28 Benjamin Kimutai Kosgei (7th, 32:31), #11 James Koskei (1st, 32:10) and #9 Ronald Mogaka (10th, 32:41).
Khannouchi looked very strong as he ran by, he made a break with eventual winner James Koskei but wound up third.
John Itati (8th, 32:36) was just beginning to lose contact with the pack here.
Abdi Abdirahman finished 11th in 33:10.
John Kagwe leads Phillamon Hanneck.
Kagwe finished 13th in 33:15, Hanneck finished 14th in 33:17.
Dan Browne finished 15th in 33:29.
Browne recently missed several weeks of training due to a sciatic nerve problem.
Andrew Masai, 42, of Kenya won the masters race in 33:53.
L-R: Eddy Hellebuyck, Patrick Nthiwa, Eric Mack and David Morris.
Hellebuyck, 41, was second in the masters race and 17th overall (34:00), Mack finished 18th (34:04) and Morris 19th (34:06).

Ryan Kirkpatrick (left) finished 22nd in 34:37, Brian Baker (right) dropped back to 61st in 40:00.
Kirkpatrick and Baker run shoulder-to-shoulder.
Paul Evans, 41, makes it look as hard as it is. He finished fourth among masters and 24th overall iin 34:47.
Scott Goff of Boulder, CO.
Goff finished 23rd in 34:39.
Eric Polonski finished 26th in 35:07.
Mark Coogan finished 25th in 34:58.
