Mohamed Ar-Ar of Morocco finished 30th in 35:50.
Kevin Collins finished 31st in 36:19.

Dustin Baker (84th, 41:37) runs with Kevin Sullivan who won the previous night's mile and was out for a 40:53 "jog" which placed him 70th.

Frank Shorter, winner of this race in 1975 and 1976, finished 312th in 48:24.
There were 7,565 total finishers here. Though a nearby bank clock read "only" 78 degrees during the race, the humidity had many runners looking beat as they headed down Robbins Road.
