the pack to win in 15:29.

Meindl
was a Foot Locker finalist in 2000, he finished 21st
at nationals.

Truax of Dover, NH grabbed the 7th spot with a 15:41.

Brendan
Sullivan of Port Jefferson, NY was in qualifying position
with about 400m to go but couldn't hang on. He finished
9th in 15:48. (Several days later, Weilacher was in
a terrible car accident and Sullivan qualified for
Nationals as the alternate.)

Stern of Potomac, MD put in a strong kick to grab
the final qualifying spot (8th, 15:43).
