Bobby Lockhart (left, 9th, 30:49.2) and Simon Bairu (10th, also 30:49.2). Wisconsin had a 3.2 second spread between their first and fourth runners.
Chris Toloff faded to 13th (30:55.8) but led his team to a qualifying spot.
Tim Moore, Toloff's high school teammate, finished one spot back in 30:57.1.
Indiana's Sean Jefferson (15th, 30:57.7) and Ohio State's Derrick Butler (16th, 30:58.0).
Andrew Marsh of Michigan State finished 17th in 31:00.6.
Jordan Desilets (18th, 31:05.6) and Joel David (19th, 31:07.0). Eastern Michigan finished second, grabbing the final automatic team qualifying spot.
Tim Keller (20th, 31:14.5) sealed the team victory for Wisconsin.
Steve Crane of Eastern Michigan finished fifth for his team (30th, 31:30.9) and Butler's Steve Vernon finished second for his team (31st, 31:31.1).
Chris Stine of Western Michigan (33rd, 31:33.1) had the distinction of being the first runner in this deep region not to qualify.

Wisconsin, the Great Lakes champion, will vie for the NCAA title on Monday, November 25th.
