Jamaica's Marvin Watts (3rd, 1:47.06) in heat two of the 800m.
Moises Joseph (2nd, 1:46.96). Otukile Lekote of Botswana (and the University of South Carolina) wins the 800 in 1:46.57. Young fans get ready to watch the steeplechase.
Robert Gary and Mark Croghan lead the charge in the steeplechase. Gary followed by Croghan and Billy Herman. Gary and Croghan run by the packed grandstand. Herman and Ray Hughes.
We're guessing that this is Dave Milne of Canada (7th, 8:54.28).
Croghan, Hughes, Gary and Herman. Herman finished 4th in 8:37.29. Fred Carter (6th, 8:51.84) and Andy Tate (5th, 8:50.60).
We think this is Trent Bryson of the Farm Team (8th, 8:54.82).
Croghan on his last lap. After skipping Nationals, this was his first 'real' steeple of the year. (He did one earlier but the barriers were accidently left too low for several laps.) Tate leads Carter to the finish line.
