The race t-shirt states: "May all of your miles be downhill and with the wind at your back."

Now in it's third year, the Millennium Mile had it's biggest year yet, boasting 229 finishers. The race is run on a point-to-point downhill course (measuring approximately one mile), beginning at Londonderry High School and finishing near Mack's Apples. The race is organized by elite runners John Mortimer, Matt Downin and Andy Downin.
