Pacesetter Lorris Adams leads Leonard Mucheru on lap one. George Milik leads on the outside.
St. John's graduate John Honerkamp leads current St. John's runner Jose Zayas.
Zayas leads Christian Hesch.
Just past 300 meters, Adams and Mucheru have already put some distance on the field.
Mucheru won the Bermuda Road Mile on Friday night before flying to JFK airport for this Saturday afternoon race.
Christian Hesch finished second in the Bermuda Road Mile, which may have accounted for his sluggishness here.
Honerkamp follows Hesch on lap two.

Ray Biersback of the New York Athletic Club leads Jason Bernstein of the Bryn Mawr Athletic Club.
Mucheru is looking antsy on lap four, Adams dropped out just before 800m and Mucheru split 1:55.4.
Honerkamp runs well behind Mucheru and begins to pull away from Hesch.
Hesch and Milik.
Milik, Zayas, Biersback and Bernstein.
Army's Clay Schwabe follows Bernstein.
Mucheru on lap five.

Honerkamp with Milik, Schwabe and Zayas close behind.
Biersback and Zayas trail the pack led by Honerkamp.
With a lap and a half to go, most of the field is involved in the race for second.
Schwabe and Milik lead.
Christian Hesch fades to the back and runs 4:23.44 (after running a 4:12 road mile the day before).
Mucheru with 100 meters to go. He finished in 3:55.54, just off Mark Carroll's meet record of 3:54.98.
Honerkamp and Schwabe lead the second pack with just over 100 meters to go (and women's mile runner-up Janet Trujillo cheers them on).
 
Honerkamp held on for second (4:04.32), Bernstein came up for third (4:05.11) and Schwabe dropped to fifth (4:05.79).
Ray Biersback finished 7th in 4:07.47.
Mucheru takes a victory lap.
