Said Ahmed, Richard Kiplagat and Mike Taylor went 1-2-3.
James Bowler (5th, 3:43.84) advanced on time.
Nate Robison (8th, 3:46.50) did not advance, Sean O'Brien (7th, 3:44.29) and James Bowler (5th, 3:43.84) did.
Eric Garner finished 9th in 3:47.80 and did not advance.
Kentucky junior David Freeman finished 10th in 3:49.25.
John Jefferson finished 12th in 3:52.88.
Paul Michel finished 13th in 4:01.39.
Michel is a freshman at Colorado State.
The start of the second of two 1,500m semi-finals.
L-R: Blake Boldon, Chris Mulvaney, Kip Kangogo, Hunter Spencer, Chris Lukezic and Brendon Mahoney.
Lukezic ends up in the lead.
Texas' Ryan Ponsonby and Michigan's Nick Willis run in the back of the pack.
BYU's Kip Kangogo moves to the lead.
Arkansas' Mulvaney and Weber State's Joel Atwater run close behind.
About 600 meters in, everyone is still in contention.
Also in there are Stanford's Grant Robison and Washington's John Russell.
R-L: Villanova's Tom Parlapiano, Willis, Ponsonby and Georgia Tech's Brendon Mahoney.
1,000m in, Kangogo, Lukezic, Mulvaney and Boldon run near the lead.
Approximately 500 meters to go.
