Once they had the top two spots sealed up, Cragg and Lincoln...
...spent the final mile deciding what to do at the finish.
John McDonnell had told Lincoln to run for third place and save himself for the steeplechase final...
...little did he know Lincoln would win in a school record 28:20.20.
Cragg was second (by design) in 28:20.29.
Cragg and Lincoln talked and joked around late in the race.
Down the homestretch, Cragg jokingly pretended to dart ahead and sprint away from Lincoln.
Matt Gonzales had a great race, finishing third (28:26.88), ahead of Jason Hartmann (4th, 28:31.96).
Ian Dobson (right) finished 5th in 28:32.23. Adam Tenforde finished 7th in 28:37.65.
