The Colorado team finished fourth with 190 points.
CU's five scorers were Jorge Torres (1st), Ed Torres (10th), Billy Nelson (38th), Steve Slattery (52nd) and Jon Severy (90th).
Eastern Michigan finished a surprise third place.
Coach John Goodridge holds the third-place trophy.
Jordan Desilets brought his chocolate chip cookies with him to the podium.
Wisconsin finished second with 107 points. The five scorers were Matt Tegenkamp (11th), Isaiah Festa (19th)...
...Bobby Lockhart (21st), Adam Wallace (22nd) and Simon Bairu (34th).
Stanford avenged last year's one-point loss to Colorado...
...winning comfortably with a 60-point margin of victory.
Stanford's five scorers were Grant Robison (3rd), Louis Luchini (5th), Don Sage (6th), Ian Dobson (8th) and Adam Tenforde (25th).
Jorge Torres was clearly many people's sentimental favorite to win. The night before the race someone spray-painted "Win it Torres" on a billboard near the entrance to the course.
