WOMEN'S PHOTOS

A little past two miles, #292 Brent Vaughn and #202 Brett Carter lead a group of runners.
#95 Kevin Cook, #408 Patrick Dunn and #318 John Richardson.
William & Mary's Dave Murphy and Providence's Darren Brown run together.
Colorado sophomore Bret Schoolmeester.
Schoolmeester leads Georgia's Shaun Emery.
Between 2-1/2 and 3 miles, no major developments had occured in the...
...individual race. Up front, L-R: Gavin Thompson, Richard Kiplagat...
...Ian Dobson, Adam Tenforde, Ryan Hall, Westly Keating and Antony Ford.
Stanford looked unbeatable in the team race (to state the obvious).
A bunch of runners - Dathan Ritzenhein, Don Sage, Henrik Ahnstrom, Simon Bairu and others...
...conserved a little energy by running in the second row on this windy day.
Stanford's top six runners all remained in the lead pack...
...and the team race would be for second place.
#39 Kip Kangogo of BYU, one of the individual contenders, is visible in the pack.
L-R: Tenforde, Keating, Sage, Ahnstrom, Ford, Alistair Cragg and Bairu.
The lead pack still included nearly 20 runners at this point.
As #268 Alistair Cragg said before the race, there were about 20 guys who thought they could finish in the top five.
Columbia's Steve Sundell begins to drop back from the lead pack.
Billy Nelson of Colorado runs close behind the lead pack.
Iona's Mark Smyth and Arkansas' Jason Sandfort run together with Stanford's Seth Hejny (partially obscured) trailing.
