WOMEN'S PHOTOS

Richard Kiplagat, Simon Bairu and Adam Tenforde run 9-10-11 with just over a mile to go.
Adam Tenforde, running in 11th place, was running #5 for Stanford.
Oklahoma State senior Mindaugas Pukstas, a native of Lithuania.
Texas senior Paul Morrison runs in 13th place just past five miles.
Stanford's Don Sage runs in 14th place and #6 for his team.
There was a sizeable gap between the top 15 and the rest of the field at five miles...
...But once the rest of the 16th runner (UTEP's Mircea Bogdan) passed, there was a steady stream of runners.
L-R: Billy Nelson, Nick Willis, Nate Brannen, Travis Laird and Chris Solinsky run 17-21.
UTEP sophomore Mircea Bogdan runs in 15th place.
Laird and Solinsky were both representing their teams in a close battle for second...
...Both Solinsky and Laird ran #2 for their teams.
Solinsky, the 2002 Foot Locker Cross Country Champion...
...would be the first freshman to finish here.
