Chad Johnson jumps out to a lead at the start of the race.
Though it rained quite a bit before the race, very little rain fell during the race.
This race again served as the USA 20k Championship, ensuring a quality field.
#5 Peter De La Cerda and #15 Ryan Kirkpatrick run near the front.
#1239 Stephen Swift and #33 Aaron Davis.
Chris Lundstrom.
L-R: Bouzza Abidi, "unknown runner" and Brendan Prindiville.
Just past the eight-mile mark, Meb Keflezighi leads the field.
Just over a week earlier, Keflezighi finished 16th in the World Championship 10,000m final in Paris.
R-L, following: Brian Sell, Phillimon Hanneck, Rod DeHaven, Ryan Kirkpatrick and Dan Browne.
Sell, sporting the new Hansons uniform, sets the pace for the chase pack.

...as Kirkpatrick and Browne start to drop back.
Browne also competed in the World Championship 10,000m final, finishing 19th.
Todd Reeser (L) and Peter De La Cerda.
De La Cerda won his first USA Mountain Running title earlier in the summer.
Reeser is among a relatively large group of Americans who will shoot for sub-2:12 at this fall's Chicago Marathon.
Teren Jameson finished out his eligibility at the University of Utah in 2002...
...and has been running well on the roads since then.
