Matt O'Dowd of England had a strong run through Central Park, moving up to eighth in 2:12:20.
Gabriel Muchiri finished 16th in 2:17:30.
Wilson Musto of Kenya finished 12th in 2:15:45.
Hendrik Ramaala of South Africa finished 14th in 2:17:10.
Ramaala finished fifth in New York in 2001.
Matteo Paumbo of Italy finished 13th in 2:16:06.
Fedor Ryzhov of Russia won the masters race and finished 18th overall.
Ryzhov finished in 2:18:46.
Hugo Jimenez of Colombia finished 21st in 2:19:58.
Jimenez again.
Silvio Guerra of Ecuador finished 28th in 2:25:37.
Guerra has twice finished second in the Boston Marathon, his highest finish in New York was fourth last year.
Valerio Brignone of Italy finished 22nd in 2:21:53.
Runar Hoiom of Sweden finished 23rd 2:22:46.
Hoiom again.
Kassahun Kabiso finished 24th in 2:23:28.
Kabiso, 19, was the first New Yorker to finish.
Sam Ngatia, 43, finished 26th in 2:24:08.
Jose Ramon Torres of Spain finished 25th in 2:23:52.
