Browne and Dowling dropped DeHaven, who had a side stitch,
around Mile 9.

And
Dowling and Browne dropped Larson on a hill right around the
12 mile mark. |
And
Browne, who boasts 4:00 mile speed but was running his first
half marathon, dropped Dowling with 200 meters to go, winning
in 1:03:55. |
Unfortunately,
they weren't quite ready for him at the finish line. |

Spence finished 9th overall in 1:06:15, indicating that
when he turns 40 in the upcoming year, he'll be a formidable
addition to the masters ranks. |
Chad
Johnson finished 5th in 1:04:46, earning one of the five available
spots on the World Championship Half Marathon team. |
The
women's race featured one leader the whole way. Milena Glusac
dropped her pursuers immediately and just continued to build
her lead. |
She
cruised to victory in 1:12:13, a PR, also earning her second
national title on the roads this year. Sylvia Mosqueda finished
2nd in 1:13:21. |

Bakoulis dominated the Masters race, winning by almost three
minutes with a 1:19:38.

Alison
Holinka finished 5th among women with a 1:15:14 PR. The 22-year-old
continues to establish herself as one to watch in the future. |
Monica
Hostetler also set a PR, running 1:14:42 for 4th. |
Kelly
Cordell finished 10th in 1:17:46. |
