Jason Walker of Humboldt State finished 14th in 9:08.48.
Casey Batey of Marshall finished 16th in 9:18.13.
Jordan Desilets continues to lead, with Chris Duncan in hot pursuit.
Desilets' winning time of 8:42.07 put him just under the NCAA automatic qualifying standard of 8:43.00.
Desilets: "This is by far the biggest race I've ever been to. The sound of the crowd cheering for you as you clear the water... it's incredible.
Duncan was heard telling his coach after the race that he had too much left at the end. He finished second in 8:43.99.
Andy Smith of NC State finished fifth in 8:49.86.
Pius Stucki of Virginia Commonwealth finished seventh in 8:53.29.
Clint Tisserand finished 11th in 8:57.55.

Kenny Henry (19th, 9:40.06) and James Osborn (8th, 9:16.95) lead the way early on.
The pack stays closely bunched in the early going.
David Zabel of Loyola clears a barrier.
Zabel finished second in 9:07.17.
Tim Mason of West Virginia and J.J. O'Rielly of Ohio State.
Fairleigh Dickinson's Robert Rotich finished 13th in 9:24.71.
Chris McWatters of Oklahoma State.
Florida's Steve Sieminski (the eventual winner in 9:04.26) leads Michigan's Ryan Hesselink.
Chris McWatters finished fourth in 9:08.70 while Tim Mason finished sixth in 9:15.32.
