Coming off the final turn, Gareth Turnbull leads.
Turnbull won in 3:57.61 with Leonard Mucheru second (4:00.97).
Robert Gary finished fifth in 4:02.01.
Kurt Michaelis of Youngstown State finished seventh in 4:03.37.
Brad Tighe of Minot State finished 12th (4:09.34).
Aidan Walsh of Fairleigh Dickinson (4:16.83).
Alan Webb warms up for the 4x800 Championship of America.

On the second leg, Alan Webb leads

...but charged into first place on the first lap.

Chris Duncan runs the second leg for Florida.
Jeryl Wilborn runs the second leg for Pittsburgh.
