Dathan Ritzenhein pulled away from Robert Cheseret at the end...
...to win the 8k race in 23:17.7. It was his first race of the year after missing most of last year...
...due to injury. Ritzenhein's time was the fourth fastest of the day.
Arizona's Robert Cheseret finished second in 23:19.6.
Cheseret, a native of Kenya, is running his first season of NCAA cross country.
Travis Laird finished third in 23:33, with his NAU teammate Henrik Ahnstrom just .4 seconds back.
Gavin Thompson finished fifth in 23:34.
William & Mary's Ed Moran finished sixth in 23:38.
Paul Morrison of Texas and Canada (and formerly Princeton) finished seventh in 23:41.
Miler Thomas Morgan had a strong race to finish eighth in 23:47.
Arizona's Jonah Maiyo finished ninth in 23:50.
Georgia's Simon Ngata finished 10th in 23:51.
Notre Dame's Tim Moore finished 16th in 23:54.
NC State's Andy Smith finished 17th in 23:58.
Oregon's Eric Logsdon finished 22nd in 24:04.
Oregon's Ryan Andrus finished 25th in 24:08.
Montana's Jonathan Gibson finished 28th in 24:09.
Colorado's Casey Burchill finished 33rd in 24:14.
Brent Vaughn wrapped up the team title for Colorado with his 34th-place, 24:15 finish.
Oregon's Brett Holts finished 40th in 24:24.
