David Krummenacker and Khadevis Robinson had a scary moment on the first lap as they got tangled up and stumbled.
Everyone managed to stay on their feet though.
Krummenacker, Robinson and Andrew Neugebauer lead just past the 200 mark.
Approaching 400 meters, Krummenacker and Robinson lead.
It's down to a 200-meter race between Krummenacker and Robinson.
Krummenacker finally managed to squeeze by Robinson for a 1:50.59 to 1:50.69 victory.
It was a repeat of their 1-2 finish at the 2002 USA Outdoor Championships.
Krummenacker and Robinson will represent the U.S. at the World Championships in March.
Robinson seemed thrilled with his second-place finish.
Purdue graduate Donnie Fellows gets ready for the 3,000-meter final.
Dan Browne, second at the Millrose Games 3,000, was considered one of the favorites here.
Brookline, MA native Jonathon Riley was running in front of his home crowd and got a big cheer from the crowd when he was announced.

At 800 meters, Browne and Asmerom share the lead.
Just past 1,000 meters, Asmerom, Riley, Fellows and Savoth trail Browne.
