Lincoln (8:30.75), Famiglietti (8:31.03), Cordes (8:31.23) and Slattery (8:31.36) were automatic qualifiers...	...as was Carl Blackhurst (5th, 8:33.54).
Isaiah Festa came from well back to grab sixth place (8:34.48).	Festa advanced on time...	...as did Sandu Rebenciuc, who was the last time qualifier (7th, 8:39.28).	Matthew Adams finished 13th in 9:04.42).	The start of the second steeplechase semi-final.
