Jason Lunn caught Berryhill just before the tape and won his first national title, 3:57.45 to 3:57.73.
Jason Pyrah finished sixth (4:02.96).

Also of note in the race was Broe's 3rd-place finish (3:58.81), approximately two hours after he won the 3,000.
Isaya Okwiya of Central Park Track Club was the designated rabbit in Saturday's masters mile.
Early reports listed Marcus O'Sullivan as one of the potential competitors in this race, but he was not present.
