One lap to go and Meb Keflezighi continues to lead Abdi Abdirahman.
Abdirahman in second.
Keflezighi was able to hold on to his lead over the last lap.
He used a 60.5-second last lap to win in 27:41.68, with Abdirahman second (27:42.83).
The last time the U.S. Nationals were won with a sub-28 clocking was 1979, when Craig Virgin ran 27:39.4.
Alan Culpepper (not pictured) finished third in 27:48.09.
Keflezighi drops down and kisses the track.
Keflezighi and Abdirahman congratulate one another.
Brad Hauser finished fourth (28:31.10), just ahead of Chris Graff (28:32.10).
Todd Williams finished sixth, holding off Ryan Shay 28:40.39 to 28:40.66.
Shawn Found used a strong kick to finish ninth (28:47.49), just ahead of Brian Sell (28:47.79).
