Robert Gary managed to extend his lead on the second loop and entered the home stretch...
...with a relatively comfortable lead and a big pack of runners behind him.
Gary won the race in 12:53.
Luke Watson and Dan Wilson race for second place. Wilson got to the line first, both were timed in 12:57.
Karl Savage (#441) finished fourth in 12:58, Sandu Rebenciuc finished fifth, also in 12:58.
Both Savage and Rebenciuc surprised here, qualifying for their first World Championship team.
Dan Browne grabbed the final spot on the team by finishing sixth in 12:59.
Browne edged out his Nike Oregon Project training partner, Chad Johnson.
Johnson (#358) finished seventh in 13:00.
Brad Hauser finished eighth in 13:03.
Matt Gabrielson of Team USA Minnesota finished 10th in 13:14.
Bryan Berryhill finished 11th in 13:16.
Chris Dugan (12th, 13:17) leads Mark Croghan (13th, 13:19).
Andy Downin finished 14th in 13:24.
Jon Riley finished 15th (13:26) and Bolota Asmerom finished 16th (13:27).
Riley and Asmerom were formerly Nike Farm Team teammates, Asmerom is no longer with the Farm Team though.
