WOMEN'S PHOTOS

Approximately one minute into the senior men's 12k...
...Meb Keflezighi and Alan Culpepper have already made their way to the front.
They're joined by #311 Chris Seaton, a graduate of NC State.
The Nike trio of Nick Rogers, Chad Johnson and Mike Donnelly make their way up one of the steeper hills on the course.
#326 Greg Jimmerson and #327 Jushua Muxen make their way up the hill.
#337 Richie Brinker, #339 Joe Gibson, #340 Brian Sell, #310 Chris Lundstrom and #509 Matt Thull.

This race featured a race within a race for the U.S. Armed Forces Championship.
#342 Michael Crawford slipped multiple times going up the first hill...
...and when Daniel LeBoeuf of the Air Force saw that he was having trouble...
...he grabbed on to the back of Crawford's singlet...
...and tried to help him up the hill.
Hiran Cantu makes his way up the slippery hill.
Past the half-mile mark, Culpepper and Keflezighi continue to lead.
Though others were within striking distance...
...it immediately became apparent that this would be a two-man race.
Culpepper, Keflezighi and Abdi Abdirahman have had some great duels over the past few years...
...but Abdirahman (left) didn't seem to be up for it this time. Robert Gary (right) was doubling back after winning Saturday's 4k.
Dave Davis was a surprise World Championship qualifier last year. This time around, most people knew who he was.
