WOMEN'S PHOTOS

Heading into the sixth and final lap, Abdi Abdirahman and Ed Torres race for third place.
Nick Rogers continues to run in fifth place.
Robert Gary runs in sixth place.
Chad Johnson moves up into seventh place.
In order to guarantee himself a spot on the World Cross Country team...
...Johnson would have to pass one more runner on the final lap.
Dave Davis runs in eighth.
David Cullum and Mike Donnelly run 9-10.
On the final lap, with more than a half mile but less than a mile to go...
...Meb Keflezighi seemed to be stretching his lead over Alan Culpepper.
Keflezighi looked like he might be in the midst of a winning move...
...but Culpepper wasn't going to give up that easily.
Culpepper's wife Shayne had already pulled off a win in the women's 4k earlier in the day.
Jorge Torres begins to pull away from Abdi Abdirahman.
For Torres - who is widely considered to be the second-fastest child in his family - this was a breakthrough race.
Torres is a senior at CU.
Abdi Abdiraham holds on to fourth place.
Nick Rogers continues to run in fifth place.
Chad Johnson pulls ahead of Robert Gary and into the final guaranteed team spot.
Johnson trains with Alberto Salazar as part of the Nike Oregon Project.
