The course consists of four nearly-identical two-kilometer loops.
A runner who did not finish (and we therefore can't identify) leads Oregon's Collin Stark-Benz.
Jason Castro leads Chris Jacobson.
Heading up the main hill on the course at the end of the first lap, Zach Sabatino, Yong-Sung Leal and Billy Nelson lead.
Around the 3,000-meter mark, there's still a large pack up front.
Sabatino, Nelson, Esselborn, Meindl, Koborsi, Seth Pilkington, Lockhart, Millioen, Moore and Neil Davis are among the leaders.
