...leads Georgetown freshman Rod Koborsi.
This was a breakout race for Koborsi, who appeared to be on his way to a second-place world-qualifying finish.
Billy Nelson, a California high schooler...
...has a great race in third.
Virginia high schooler Bobby Lockhart runs in fourth.
Seth Pilkington runs in fifth. The top six would make the World Junior XC team.
Zach Sabatino runs in sixth.
Yong-Sung Leal runs in seventh.
Peter Meindl runs in eighth with less than 1,000 meters to go.
Chris Esselborn runs in ninth place.
Heading up the final hill with just one straightaway to go, Tim Moore leads.
Moore added a junior national title to his Foot Locker National title.
His winning time was 24:48 on the eight kilometer course.
Rod Koborsi hung on to finish second in 24:55.
Billy Nelson ran well to finish third in 25:05.
Nelson qualified for the team that would compete in the World Junior Championships in Ireland.
Zach Sabatino moved up to finish fourth in 25:16.
