After
three false starts, the men's 100m final is off and running.

Greene
wins in 9.82, Montgomery is 2nd in 9.85 and Williams is 3rd
in 9.94 for a U.S. sweep of the medals. |
Despite
a heavy limp after crossing the finish line, Greene was able
to complete a victory lap and ham it up for the cameras. |

Krummenacker, the U.S. Champion and the only American to advance
this far runs with Glody Dube. Krummenacker finished 7th in
1:47.46 and will not advance to the final. |
Bungei
leads as the runners have 200m to go. Bungei won the heat in
1:45.66, with Tighazouine 2nd, Schumann 3rd, and Sepeng, the
final qualifier, 4th. |
