The men's 5,000m final, Sammy Kipketer of Kenya takes it out quickly.
#324 Isaac Viciosa (14th, 14:01.32), Adam Goucher (10th, 13:24.00) and Marius Bakken (9th, 13:22.07) opted not to follow such a quick pace so early on in the race. Kipketer held a slight lead as he passed through the mile in approximately 4:04. #15 Ali Saidi-Sief and #339 Hailu Mekonnen lead the chase pack.
Kipketer continues to lead... ...But the pack never let him get too far ahead... ...And eventually reeled him in (led by #342 Million Wolde) around the 3k mark. Goucher looks good as he starts to pick fading runners off.
Despite being in great shaped headed into this race, Goucher just wasn't prepared for the race to go out quite so fast.
With two laps to go, Saidi-Sief leads with Richard Limo of Kenya on his right shoulder. With one to go, it's down to Saidi-Sief, Limo and Wolde. Limo produced a big kick, beating out Saidi-Sief (2nd, 13:02.16) and Wolde (3rd, 13:03.47).

Limo crosses the finish line in 13:00.77. Taking a victory lap.
